phew! i just came back from a stayover at a 'hotel' called orchard scotts hosted by yaim yong. quite a nice place :) jonah, dion, yaim yong and me and other four of yaim yong's friends went. did i mention daniel? oh...i didnt, haha, cause he went but didnt stayover. suan suan sorry daniel :D cant help it XD

there got xbox, PS3, PSP, tv, cup noodles, cereal, water, table, chair, air-con, bed...random lols. ya so its damn nice. ok so we just spammed the gaming consoles the whole afternoon and playing soccer and the playground lol...yes and then in the evening at 6 we played hotel626. hehheheh...last time i played i got freaked out. but this time not scary lorhs...so many people then i think its damn funny...then jonah scared say later got a head come out of the bed. then i say no, guo zhen's ***** will come out and (censored). lols. then at night we watched saw 3. it is rated...never mind. not suitable for children under 15. haha. damn sadistic with scenes...... :)

the next part damn random. yaim yong's friend was hungry and wanted to go 7-eleven to buy food. then 7-eleven closed even though it was supposed to be 24h...random. so we travel all the way to orchard burger king to buy. it was like 10.30 at that time and we all scared cant take the last train back (11.42pm). and dion was so scared about the novena ghost lol. but we made it in time. then we sleep...at 2...and i push dion to another bed lols.

next day i went home after lunch.

omg i hate softball. really really hate it. hate it like how whites hates the blacks vice versa...(once).

today i pon training to meet up to do english proj....no i would rather put it this way. i planned to pon training today coincidentally, i got the priviledge to spend me "pon-ed training" time to meet up with daniel and wee leal to do english project. :) sounds nicer.

it was planned to do our project at the bishan library but u have to pay for the damned wireless in the library to access internet. so we eat lunch first then go to ri to do.

my "traning" ends at 12.30. i walked to ri at 12.30. normally, the damned training would end at 1 and dragged on to 1.30. god knows what happened today and traning ended miraculously early and i walked right into the bunch of damned softballers at 12.30 en route to ri. T_T.

i cry sia...

damned cca. its cursed. seriously. i would ~~consider~~ quitting softball in JC. unless i get imba in this damned cca. which would be only a tiny weeny 0.000000001 % chance. :)

its 2 days since i returned from the jiangnan trip and finally got the time to blog about it. it was soooo fun other than that i fell ill for 2 days. i wanna stay there longer! so lets travel back to 9th nov. (doing some rewinding now).

9th nov
reached changi airport at 6. feeling a bit excited. started checking in the luggage...and lucy...wait...lucy is our tour leader, one that makes dexter laughs. she is about 1.5m tall, around her sixties, has red hair and wears specs. other than that, she is normal. dexter laughs at normal things. cool. ok, so back to the point, i checked-in my luggage and started waiting to board the plane. spare the details of the waiting. then we took a group picture and said bye-bye to my parents (no tears please). so boarded the plane...and poof! we reached nanjing! first stop: LUNCH!

do u want to know what happen during lunch? if yes, read on. if not, just skip this paragraph.
during lunch, we were given tickets to buy lunch. i bought xiao long bao. delicious. and thats all for lunch.

next, we headed to 大屠杀纪念馆. damn the japanese. they are a bunch of sadist. massacred 300000 people in nanjing. evil! poor people hope they rest in peace. :(

i shall skip the details of dinner and shopping at 夫子庙.

10 nov
its a new day! visited zhong shan ling. the scenery is beautiful! i shall let the pictures do the talking for now.

nice right? i shall skip whatever happens next and so we will be heading to wuxi. dexter was laughing about lucy all the way. visited san guo cheng.

we took a tram around this place. i must "commend" them on their excellent english on the sign on the tram.

dont think u can see it. this is what that was written:

quite a nice place la. want to go there again to visit other places. so after we took a boat around the river around chi bi. very windy. stanley and dexter were laughing about lucy on the boat. aiyo. end of day 2.

ah its the 3rd day! visited the teapot factory in the morning. the teapot design quite interesting. but i didnt buy the teapots. i slap myself for that. should have bought. *slap* ouch. it didnt hurt. so after that we went for lunch. as usual, joseph would snatch for food and pile his plate as high as mount everest before eating. typical singaporean. kiasu. so we leave the city of wuxi and headed for the beautiful city of 杭州. while travelling, lets talk about the 2 most irritating people in our group: benedict and joseph. since we talked about jospeh lets talk about benedict now. he calls everyone a faggot every single minute. damn irritating. and he calls his friend, jonathan, Pope. you know, Pope John Paul...he calls others names when he himself is a Pope, Pope "Benedict" XVI. stupid rite? oh ya forgot to tell you something. we were to act in a play about the butterfly lovers: 梁山伯与祝英台. guess who i am acting as? 祝英台. dratz. actually it is not so bad lah. 祝英台扮男装 not so bad lah. melvin acting as 梁山伯. colin acting as teacher. zhe herng acting as ma wen cai.

on the bus a tour guide(colleague of our tour guide) boarded our coach 搭顺风车 to 杭州. then sat next to me. OMG its hell after that. dexter sang about him the whole trip...damn noisy. he was like going:

fatty, fatty, fatty. (in some tune dexter made up)

wanted to sleep but he continued singing. first lucy, now this random guy. grr...hoped he didnt understand english. but he didnt or dexter wouldnt be in one piece.

so we reached 杭州. i LOVE 杭州. its so beautiful! first stop in 杭州: 万松书院, the school 梁山伯与祝英台 were said to have studied in. (they are just stories by the way.)

after that we went to 岳飞庙. that place nothing much to talk about. u want details, go to stanley's blog, he spammed all the details of every single moment. impressive. after that, dinner then go watched a performance: 西湖之夜.　the show is quite nice lah. some acrobatics, dancing, flying around on a hanging cloth and stuff like that. actually i watched a lot of these kind of performance before. but it is with the friends around me that made the difference. quite a nice show.

after performance go back hotel zzz. actually the others(dexter, stanley and andrew) keep on saying want organise lucy party but i didnt go for one lor. always sleep like a pig cannot wake up in the middle of night.

12 nov
today was the best day of the trip! morning went to 西湖. the scenery was...was...indescribable. a picture paints a thousand words. the tour guide always says this: "上有天堂,　下有苏杭". actually i dun quite understand that sentence but i think its to describe the beauty of 苏州 and 杭州. i quite agree with it.

after the boat ride, went to a garden next to 西湖. also damn nice. the place so quiet and peaceful. and the fishes in the pond spammed like crazy. we throw popcorn in the pond to feed them. haha...maybe poisoned the fishes :D jonathan bought popcorn and i "koup-ed" a lot from him ;P

took a group picture in the garden. should be quite nice. wait...we took a lot of group photos in china. could anyone bother telling me where to get them?

next stop was 梅家坞．drank 龙井茶 there. the tea smells nice and taste nice. hee actually anything that is food is nice to me. bought two tins of A grade tea. the people there quite generous give the tea leaves till the tin overflow. after that was lunch. wait..what was 杭州's speciality dish? nanjing's was 浅水鸭(saltish but nice). wuxi's...i think dun have. argh! i forgot 杭州's speciality dish. i thought i LOVE food? OH YA! it was 东坡肉. (actually it was after reading stanley's post :D) the SUPER DUPER oily but delicius meat.

so travelled 1hour on bus to 乌镇. this time lucky. dexter kept quiet. 乌镇 is like a village on water. the houses there more than 1000 years old. people still leaving in there. so peaceful...took a boat ride around the place. nice place.

that's lucy. heehee secretly took it.

ah...going 苏州. on bus, lucy wrongly accused dexter of standing in bus. dexter got damn pissed and started making names for lucy with me. whoa he created like 20! (all quite sick de) aiyo...dexter...ate dinner in 苏州. saw charleston in the same restaurant. haha. and it was after this dinner i felt a bit uncomfortable. then went back hotel got a bit fever. later went to andrew's room to rehearse the play. andrew say there is a lucy party at 4.30 am. i WANT TO GO FOR THIS!!! who knows. in the middle of the night, i VOMITTED! ARGH! HATED THAT FEELING. after that i went back to sleep. not long after i vomitted again this time in front of andrew(he went to sleep in my room.) grrr...feeling not well already. later diarrohoea. got sick. went and sleep. X(

13 nov
woke up feeling better. no appetide. realised colin also same condition as me. i felt good already so i followed the tour today. went to the school in 苏州 first. attended their lessons: chinese poems and PE. felt bad during PE. then nightmare...VOMITTED IN FRONT OF THOSE CHINA STUDENTS! argh. after vomitting hoo lao shi brought me to sick bay. the doctor there gave mme medicine. feel better after taking them. went for lunch. didnt eat anything. then stanley also feel sick: fever. ow...tour guide later quite nice lah brought us back to hotel in a taxi. then go hospital. lucy was there. no mood tease her. actually there was a lot of people who had the same condition as me! went for blood test. dunno why...after consulting doctor get medicine stanley and me went back hotel rest.

in hotel zhang ying came in let us take our medicine. then ate a porridge dinner and slept from 6 -6.30 tommorow. heard teachers came in the middle of night to check on us.

14 nov
boring...stayed in hotel the WHOLE day. i was fine already except for diarrhoea. zhang ying dun allow me to go out. dinner porridge. lunch porridge. colin came into our room. he still very sick. now still sick leh! (as in currently in s'pore) get well soon hor. niu lao shi and zhang lao shi occassionally come in check on us. actually after this incident, i realised zhang ying and the teachers all quite nice lah...took care of us and so many others. sacrifaced the trip for us. must really thank them. so i shall stop calling zhang ying "fly" from now on. FLY. just joking. finally dinner was something different. real solid food. slept like a pig today...

totally recovered!!! YEAH! but colin still sick...:(niu lao shi stayed behind to take care of him. oooo....~~actually colin and niu lao shi~~...i think i will just shuddap. dun be so nosy....went to shanghai today. first went to some boring shanghai musuem of its development. dun like shanghai's air. everywhere got smoke and its badly polluted. sux. the 外滩 was beautiful. at night watched another performance. much cooler than the one in 杭州.

last day already! boohoo...i wanna stay in china longer! first went to a bookshop with 7 floors. amazingly huge bookshop. spent 1h there and bought Brisingr(i finally got it!), one S.H.E album, and another album from westlife-back home. i dunno but when i looked at the itenery we didnt go to a place called 豫园. dunno i think lack of time. waaaa...after our last lunch on a stationary boat we would be going home...went airport and took a hell long time to check in our luggage. and on the plane, i was sitting with some teachers from SCGS(the school that stalked us in shanghai). boring. stupid airport make me sit there grrr...after 5h of sort-of boredom(other than watching The Journey to the Center of the Earth and The Dark Knight for the third time.)...we finally reached home. i wished the trip was longer lor...like tour every city in china...haha...waaa...i dun want go home...

Connect Singapore on friday was crap. yeah, it was a waste of time, shoud hav pon it. yammy ponned it cos he went to Brazil (according to dion-which i dun believe). so we juz stood outside RJ and start holding hands and waving at those jeeps that drove past us. boring. after that i went to daniel's house with jonah and dion. dion wanted to watch DOA. the others wanted to play Gunz. sicko dion. in the end, we played gunz. daniel showed the gunz replay of me getting owned by him. anyways, school has started and life's worse. i mean WORST

1) new cs teacher who is damn grouchy (i mean always...)

2) projects piling in like nobody's business. (when does it not happen?)

3) trainings ending late (as usual...)

but every cloud has a silver lining...

1) physics teacher away for 1 whole week and replaced by relief teacher. yay

but i guess that's all...

2day's class gathering was indescribably......boring. and a waste of time too. no food. no games. no fun. and to think i was anticipating it for the past 2 days. only less than 1/2 the class came. seriously it was boring except for that soccer match that lasted less than 1/2 an hour and the countless "Truth or Dare" we played. such a waste! we hardly get together too. nvm...

one day has only 24h. 24 precious hours! yet i wasted 5h of it on a stupid project, sry, not actually project but some crap discussion, sry again, not crap discussion but talking crap, yes, it's actually part doing discussion part talking crap. *sigh* it's all becoz of SOMEONE who went crapping and crapping and crapping...sry, if i go on crapping, it will take 4eva. tat SOMEONE is on my nerves. really ON my nerves. i wasted PRECIOUS 3h on travelling to melvin's house and then wasted 2h there on this project, sry, not actually project but some crap discussion. sigh...and in a few hours time need go training again. AGAIN!!! I HATE HOLS TRAINING WASTE MY PRECIOUS TIME...

watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 2day. Nice and cool! btw, RI won The Arena yesterday! whoo hoo! ok...nvm...anyway, i tomoro still hav training...sigh...somemore on mons, weds and sats 5h each so tiring...so tell me, wad is a holiday: training 3 times a week, extra projects, piles of hw. i guess that is secondary schools' holiday...
